Motor Mount/Ankle Project Started

Steve brought the aluminum to the work day for the eight sets of motor mounts/ankles. I was not expecting him to get it so soon. He was able to get 16' of 3/8" round aluminum and cut aluminum (16 - 11"x12", 1 - 13"x48", 1 - 10"x48", and 1 - 5"x48") for $139.05 or $17.39 per set. Once he gets the hardware, a set of motor mounts/ankles should be about $20.

Steve cut out the paper template design for the motor mount and Clay and he traced the design onto the 16 pieces 11"x12" sheets of aluminum with a sharpie.

Steve started us out, but everyone else took turns cutting out the motor mount aluminum.

And the finished product...at least for the day. Cutting these was easier than I thought.
